PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is durable and resistant to corrosion. NSF Certified for potable water use. Not recommended for Gas or Pressurized air applications. Teflon-Tape or Pipe-Dope recommended when installing thread connections for preventing leaks. Schedule 80 Rating for higher pressure applications.
